  The base oil in our blend is safflower oil.  We use this oil of a lovely orangey-red flower the most because it is balanced oil, it’s virtually scentless, it feels very clean, and is readily absorbed by the skin. We add vitamin E to promote healing of the skin, and as a natural anti-oxidant it preserves the oil.
